Château de Ripaille app for iPhone and iPad

Ripaille is perfectly located on the banks of Lake Geneva. It was build in the 15th century by Amédée VIII before being restored by Frédéric Engeld Gros, rich industrialist who bought the entire castle in 1892.
Visiting Ripaille will allow you to travel in time : starting with the Dukes of Savoy around 1350, the reign of Amédée VIII, Chartreux monks owning the place in the 17th century as well as the French Revolution. This trip will be completed with the architecturally impressive adventure of not only industrialist but also art lover Engel Gros who was restoring Ripaille in 1900 !
Beside history you will also discover a preserved natural heritage, an extraordinary area, beautiful gardens betweens Lake Geneva and Dent dOche plus the famous castle ditches.
Ripaille is also headquarters of a foundation created in 1976 who is taking care of preservation, development and event management, while preservation of the typical environment constitutes one of its most important values.
